Banham Zoo, together with its sister park Africa Alive! in Suffolk, is part of the Zoological Society of East Anglia, and has three very clearly defined goals: Conservation, Education and Animal Welfare.
In 2018, the award-winning Banham Zoo celebrated its fiftieth anniversary, and today showcases over 2,000 animals from around the world, set in 50 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens.
Banham is one of the UK’s most well-known zoos, and is one of the top visitor attractions in East Anglia.
“We were delighted to host Tourism Growth’s ‘Boosting Your Sales on Social Media’ course recently at Banham Zoo, and to welcome many other East Anglia tourism businesses here on our fiftieth anniversary!
Four of us from ZSEA attended the course. It was an excellent day, with a very knowledgeable trainer. We all picked up some great new ideas – and we all learned a lot!
We have some new opportunities now to develop and improve our social media presence – and to build our audiences, and levels of engagement, across all the different platforms.”
