During 2018 we were delighted to design and deliver a programme of training courses for Cotswolds tourism businesses – something we’ve now done each year since 2014.
We’ve helped employers to increase sales, build their brand and reputation and compete as strongly as possible with operators in other leading tourism destinations around the country.
Over the last four years we’ve worked closely with Cotswolds Tourism – who’ve actively promoted the courses to their members and other tourism businesses across the Cotswolds.
The courses have attracted many different businesses, all playing their part in delivering the tourism ‘offer’ and experience in the Cotswolds – including restaurants, hotels, attractions, holiday cottages, pubs, B&Bs and coffee shops – and by October 2018 over 150 owners and managers of tourism businesses had attended our courses in the Cotswolds.
Our special thanks go to Cotswolds Tourism and all the local authorities – Cheltenham, Cotswold, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Stroud and West Oxfordshire – for helping to engage tourism businesses onto the courses.
We’re grateful as well to all our partner venues – including Barnsley House, Calcot Manor, Ellenborough Park, Cotswold House Hotel, The Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester, Hatton Court Hotel and Cotswolds Hotel & Spa – for hosting our most recent programme of events.
Planning Ahead for 2019
Following the very positive feedback we’ve received from the Cotswolds tourism businesses who’ve attended our training courses over the last four years – we’re currently planning a new series of courses for 2019, once again in partnership with Cotswolds Tourism.
