Tourism Growth has contracted with the Liverpool City Region LEP several times in recent years to design and deliver highly effective programmes of business support for the visitor economy – one of the LEP’s key growth sectors.
In 2012-13 we worked with 60 tourism employers in the region, targeting and supporting those in particular with plans for improving profits and growing their operations. During this time 300 new jobs were created by these businesses, far exceeding the target set for us by the LEP – and the feedback from all those who took part and benefited was extremely positive. In 2015-15, we contracted again with the LEP to run its Visitor Economy High Growth Business Support programme.

“I’ve worked with Paul Hickey for 10 years now and he always delivers for us, time after time.
I’d thoroughly recommend Tourism Growth to other Local Enterprise Partnerships and destination management organisations – if you’re looking for a quality business support partner you can trust and who knows the tourism sector inside out.
Tourism Growth always gives us the outputs we’ve required and much more – whether it’s engaging employers onto business support programmes, coaching owners and managers to improve productivity and profits or helping tourism businesses to grow successfully and create new jobs.
As well as this, Tourism Growth’s quality assurance and administration systems are excellent – they’re the best around at generating the results and evidence we’ve needed from employers to help us secure further funding and support for the Liverpool City Region’s tourism industry”.
