What does Tourism Growth do? 

Tourism Growth provides training, coaching and consultancy (our Services) to tourism, hospitality and Leisure businesses (our Clients) and their employees (our Delegates).

We also provide these services on behalf of, or in partnership with, Destination Management Organisations (DMOs), Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), trade organisations and other industry groups (our Partners).

We act as a service provider and data processor to our Clients and Partners.

What data to you hold about me? 

The type of data we hold about you and why we hold it depends on how you interact with us.

  • Collected from you by your employer, (a Data Controller) who is our Client, and shared with us in accordance with their privacy policy so that we can provide a Service for them;

Why do you use my data? 

We may use your data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to any customer service enquiries you have made;
  • To email you specific information or content that you have requested;
  • To email you our training course/events newsletter if you have requested it. You can opt-out at any time :
  • To keep you up to date with developments at Tourism Growth and to send you marketing communications we think you may be interested in, unless you have opted-out of receiving such messages. You can opt-out at any time :

We hold and process all of the above data as Data Controller either because you have expressly consented for us to do so, or because it is in our legitimate business interests to process it for the purposes specified above.

What do you do with my data?

  • Our trainers and business coaches who provide you with the training, coaching and consultancy services that you have requested:

    • non-personal information will include your job title and your business/employer details
  • Our auditors and financial service providers, if they have incidental or necessary access to your information in the process of providing services to us, however they will be obliged to treat your information as confidential.

Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the personal information you provide to us without your consent.

Will my data be transferred out of the EU? 

Although the information that you submit to us (by email or through the online booking system and enquiry forms on this website) may, incidentally in the course of transmission, be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) we will not otherwise transfer your information outside the EEA.
