Client Reviews

“The Tourism Growth training course I attended was excellent – I learnt so much.

The presentations were fascinating – and I was particularly impressed by the extensive research that had been carried out on each participating business in advance.

The course alerted me to areas on our social media platforms we can improve – and to ways we can encourage new business to Holkham.”

Abacus Hotels Logo“The training course that Tourism Growth designed and ran for us was excellent.

The trainer really knew the industry and had a great delivery style. Plenty of very good ideas and action points for us to implement!

The team is more confident and focused now, with a shared understanding of what we need to achieve – and we will sell more effectively and profitably as a result.”

Robert Gough, Suffolk Tourism, BHA“Paul has managed the delivery of a number of training and development programmes here at Gough Hotels – for staff, supervisors and the senior management team.

The trainers have always been excellent, very credible indeed – and Paul’s programmes have always given us great results for the business.”

“The course was excellent and I got a great deal out of it. So many practical ideas I could use straight away in my business.

It was just what I needed to spur me on. Since the course I’ve increased my followers on Twitter, and this is now paying off in terms of numbers, click throughs and direct messages. I’ve also joined Pinterest!”

“The workshop was just what I needed, a great motivator. It gave me the enthusiasm to start using social media to really benefit my business.

I’m building up my following on Twitter – I now know what tweets are likely to be favoured and retweeted. I’m also posting more of the right content on Facebook – which has led directly to more enquiries and sales.”

“Very enjoyable training courses. We learnt a great deal at the Tourism Growth sessions about the different social media platforms, in particular Google+ and Pinterest.

We picked up lots of ideas for driving forward our social media activities – and for using TripAdvisor as a powerful marketing tool.

The courses were excellent and will definitely have a positive impact on our business.”

“A fantastic training course, with an excellent trainer who really knew the restaurant sector.

He gave us so many ideas and techniques for improving our food and beverage sales – and for making more profit.

There was such great interaction going on within the group – and with many of the best hotels in North Yorkshire there on the day we all learned a lot from each other as well!”

The Bath Brew House Pub“We’ve now attended three Tourism Growth training courses in recent months – on ‘Selling Skills for Restaurants’, ‘Selling More Meetings and Events’ and ‘Boosting Your Sales on Social Media’.

Each course has been excellent – and completely focused on helping us improve sales and profits.

I’d recommend Tourism Growth’s training courses to other tourism and hospitality businesses without hesitation.”
