Training Courses for Yorkshire Tourism Businesses

We were delighted to have run a programme of six sector-specific training courses for Yorkshire tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses during October and November 2018 – and to have worked in partnership once again with Welcome to Yorkshire, Visit York and Discover Yorkshire Coast.

Discover England Fund – Courses at Special Discounted Rates

Welcome to Yorkshire and Tourism Growth have been offering these courses as part of the Cycle England Initiative – funded by Visit England’s Discover England Fund.

The courses were designed for tourism businesses looking to attract the international leisure cycling market – particularly from Germany and The Netherlands – to help the businesses be ‘more bookable’ and boost their sales online.

Tourism businesses were selected if they met the Welcome to Yorkshire application criteria – including being close to (within 15 miles of) one of the designated Cycle England Yorkshire routes (*see below).

We’re pleased to confirm that preferential rates of £93 +vat and £145 +vat per person – dependent on the course selected – are available to members of Welcome to Yorkshire.

These rates are also available to members of Visit York and Discover Yorkshire Coast.

Our normal prices:

The normal prices for attending our courses are £133 +vat, and £195 +vat.

Discover England Fund subsidised rates:

The subsidised delegate rate for businesses that qualified for the six courses we ran during October and November 2018 was just £20 +vat.
